For me, shooting is an instinct. My story began with an idea fostered by my father who discovered my talent in pulling the gun and helped me become an expert markswoman in a male dominated sports. I began my journey of shaping and forming my marks in trap shooting as an 8-year-old.
Competing was and remains my ultimate passion, this drive took me to becoming the first Arab woman to compete in an Olympic Game in London 2012. I competed in Rio Di Janeiro in 2016 as well. Not less noteworthy to mention that I also achieved the status of the first woman to win three consecutive ISSF World Cup championship medals, 1 gold and 2 silver in 2016.
